Author Biography

Samantha Smith, Michigan State University

Smith is a PhD student in History, at Michigan State University. Prior to beginning her PhD studies she worked as an archivist at the Newberry Library in Chicago for over four years. During her time there she co-curated The Legacy of Chicago Dance exhibition. She received her BA in Gender Studies from Lawrence University, MA in Public History from Loyola University Chicago, and MLIS from Dominican University.
