Terms

Authors retain rights to their work, with first publication rights granted to Gendered Perspectives on International Development.

Authors may republish their work elsewhere after a twelve (12) month embargo.

You hereby agree to publish your article under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0).

You further warrant that:

  • The submission is original, has not been formally published in any other peer-reviewed journal or in a book or edited collection, and is not under consideration for any such publication.
  • You have obtained written permission from the copyright holder for the inclusion of any third party material, including images, in your submission.
  • The submission does not include any instance of plagiarism.
  • You have made all reasonable efforts to ensure the accuracy of any factual information contained in the article, and have not falsified data findings.

Should allegations of copyright infringement, plagiarism, or research misconduct be brought against your work, Gendered Perspectives on International Development and Michigan State University Press will pursue the matter as outlined in our Policy on Research Misconduct.

The authors agree to the terms of this Publishing Agreement, which will apply to this submission if and when it is published by this journal.
